Hairpin, musket-shaped. Pointed bamboo pin, with head end curved and shaped as musket barrel and stock. Lacquered in red along most of its length, with a line of gold coloured paint along the right hand side where the barrel and the firing mechanism would be, and with a smaller gold coloured band underneath where the wooden stock would be secured to the barrel, and gold at the shoulder end of the stock.
