Wooden, flat-bottomed turned object in the shape of a vase, with a spherical body and an everted rim. The wood is lacquered, probably on the lathe. A solid piece of wood, with no opening or mouth. Probably used to demonstrate a stage of manufacture, as an inscription on the top refers to 'II Stage'.
