stands (household miscellany)

Stand or base made from turned and lacquered wood. The object consists of a central column with a domed base and a disc. The disc has six pairs of holes near the edge. The object is decorated with a red and black lacquer design, some applied on the lathe, with green on the column and inlaid white metal on the disc and base.
