Turned wooden bottle. The body is shallow and wide, with a long narrow stem. Outer surface covered in black and some red lacquer and decoration achieved by engraving in horizontal bands. Around the body a hunting scene is engraved including a peacock, two dogs and three deer. Most of the motifs have then been painted in a beige colour. Similar elements appear on the shoulder and neck of the bottle. Other bands are of scrolling floral elements.
