Circular brass container decorated with repousse technique, chased and engraved in three main sections. There is a horizontal band around the top of the body, of acanthus leaves. The wider central band is a scrolling floral motif. Below this is a band of lotus petals. The rim around the opening has a design of diagonal ridges in imitation of a rope. Two S-shaped handles, one at each side of the container in the form of a hooded cobra. Label: one external label, brown, printed.
