A turned wooden dome shaped lid decorated with animals and men within borders. There are four borders, one containing what looks like a dog, one possibly an antelope and two with men on horseback. These have all been painted directly on the wood in black outslines and finished with a layer or varnish. There is a band of black around the bottom, containing red flowers with four petals. This has been etched into the surface of the black paint, revealing the red beneath. The same technique has been used at the top to create a black circle with a red line within it. Some of the black paint has chipped away. The inside has been painted green with a red rim.
