pipe box; lid (containers)

Bamboo pipe box and lid. The box is cylindrical, with bands of basketry at various intervals along the container. There are two rods of copper alloy which are affixed underneath the bands. There is also a rod of copper alloy on either side of the lid. Darker strands of plant fibre are tied around the container. There is a large stick attached which is protruding from the container, it is in a similar shape to a dowsing rod. The lid is separate and has twine tied around the metal rod.
