Doll made from cloth filled with straw, representing a woman carrying a young child on her back. The woman wears a long dress with a checked pattern, which was originally pink but has faded to brown. She wears a blue-grey shawl over the dress, as well as beaded necklaces and earrings. She has long hair in two plaits down her back. The child is wrapped in the woman's shawl, and wears a crocheted bonnet.
