Brass incense holder in the form of a standing mythical beast (qilin), four-legged, on a integral rectangular plinth. The creature has a beard, mane, horn and winged legs, a bell round its neck and a short erect tail. On its back an upright cylinder to hold incense.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
