The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Pipe with case and tobacco pouch. The case is possibly made from either wood or horn, the base of which is attached to the leather case. An ojime bead is attached to both parts. The pipe is made from wood with a metal bowl and a paper label attached. The mouthpiece and lid for the case come detached.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database. Some of this is incomplete and there may be errors. This part of the website is also still under construction, so there may be some fields repeated or incorrectly formatted information.
