A Victorian padded birthday card, in the form on an envelope, made with 'laced' embossed and die cut paper with gold details. On the front, framed by the laced paper, is a poem entitled 'The Birthday'. On the other side is the false closure of the envelope. Purple paper can be seen through the cut outs on both sides.
