12 samples of tabby-woven cotton banding. Each textile appears to be cut from the same larger cloth with a white band slightly off centre. This is framed by narrow orange and black bands, and wide red bands. Either side are wider blue bands decorated with a black grid, subdivided by sets of narrow black and orange bands. The pattern towards one of the shorter sides varies slightly, as does the width of the samples.
