spear (weapons: missiles & projectors)

Spear with metal blade and spike to insert in ground, each set in a socket on the ends of a long wooden shaft. Leaf-shaped blade with two small projections near the base, and lines incised along its length below the projections and at the base of the socket exterior. The shaft is decorated with two sets of mainly very short tufted red hair, with two narrow bands of black hair near the centre of each, the sets separated by a space for a handgrip. The lower set has a long red hair at the base end. The butt end spike socket is not fully closed but wrapped around the shaft.
