The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Spear head. Metal leaf-shaped, socketed blade, with two opposite triangular projections near the socket. Decorated with short incised lines in two rows that form a large `V’ shape on the flat blade just above the socket on each side. A series of diagonal lines forming a row of `V’s along the bottom of the socket.
