The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Roughly square copper tray, with a circular, sunken section at the centre decorated with an all over slightly raised engraved and chased design of scrolling flowers. The background is dotted. The outer part is decorated in openwork with a floral design with at each corner a pair of peacocks depicted in mirror composition. The underside is undecorated.
