sword sheath (sheath (weapons: accessories))

Scabbard for single-edged sword, dao, made of wood and covered with ray skin, mounted with brass locket and chape. Two rings encircle the middle section and a crest with two holes is affixed on top, through which are holes used for cords or tassels for carrying. The brass fittings are engraved with leafy scrolls.
