North Indian decorative dagger jambya, probably last quarter of the 19th century, the double-edged blade is recurved and chiselled with a pair of confronting elephants and other typically Indian ornaments. The hilt is mounted with engraved steel, and faced with inlaid sections of mother-of-pearl. 216 mm long.
