Each leaf is divided into an upper and lower part, the upper originally containing an embroidered panel, the lower filled with veneered wood. The left hand upper panel shows three women processing silk, the central figure winding filaments from cocoons boiling above a lit stove. In the right hand leaf the panels are missing.
