The lift will be out of service until Friday 28 June while we work on a replacement, and the Museum may be noisier at times due to these works.
Rectangular basketry pouch made of plant fibre, lined with natural coloured woven plant fibre and decorated with a diamond pattern in brown fibres on the outside. There is a band of faded red colour around the rim. The pouch is filled with dried plant material.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
