axe head (general & multipurpose)

Stone axe-head consisting of a triangular shaped blade with a rounded, cutting edge which tapers to a waisted section and then flares to a tang with four protrusions (area of body loss). The blade section is decorated with a carved geometric design on both sides.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
