One of a pair of bound foot boots of Northern style with upturned pointed toe and wide tubular shaft. The upper is of red silk embroidered with floral design at quarters. The throat is of blue and white silk with flower and bird embroidery, and with couched gold foil and ribbon trimmings. The boot shaft is of grey silk extending from a band of black silk embroidered with plum blossom, lotus and a butterfly. No inner lining. Arched sole of quilted red cotton, decorated with white ribbon with green and purple floral pattern on sides.
