Carved wooden figure representing a monkey or lizard-like creature standing on its hind legs. The tail is curved over the back. The arms are bent, holidng the back of the neck. The head is raised with the mouth wide open, possibly suggesting pain. Below and in front on the integral plinth is a smaller figure of the same type on the ground. The figure is well carved in light wood but the surface is unfinished.
