Raised wooden sandal, pointed at rear and dentate at front of sole piece, which has a row of triangular pieces of mother-of-pearl inset around the edge, with oval, round and teardrop-shaped pieces in a pattern in the middles section, as well as inset wire in a pattern. One piece of mother-of-pearl missing from sole surface. Similar mother-of-pearl pieces inset into front of front support and back of rear support. Supports are made of two separate flat sections which spread very wiode at the base and are set into the sole piece above. Rear support has piece broken off and absent from one side, and some mother-of-pearl missing. Strap over secured with three nails at each side, and embroidrede with yarn showing traces of metal thread wrapping.
