Black basaltware teapot or coffee pot lid with moulded geometric decoration.

An image of this item appears in the magazine 'Black and White' (February 28th 1891) in an article describing Surrey House Museum. It was displayed on the shelves of 'the Old English Pantry' in that Museum.
