

Carved and painted wooden figure of the deified Marshal Zhao Gong-ming, the Military God of Wealth (wu cai shen), who oversees the gaining and distribution of wealth. He is depicted with bulging eyes, black face and moustache; riding on a yellow tiger with black stripes and holding a silver painted cudgel in his right hand. Come together with the figure is an orange silk gown with green trimming and an orange silk head cover with green pompom and lining, which could possibly have presented by a male Daoist disciple, Zhou Shui-hong, through a special ceremony in Jichou year (1889 or 1949).
