Large bulbous container, rounded base and a wide neck, made from terracotta clay with roulette decoration on lower third, two added coils, with a band of alternating panels of crosshatched incised lines on white slip and burnished red slip, at widest point, shoulder with a band of incised decoration with protrusions, bordered with three bands of roulette decoration, remainder of body covered with red slip and burnished. Damaged section at rim. Label states ''Container for Palm wine''.
