11 identical rectangular samples of cotton and silk textile. A single selvedge along one narrow side. Seemingly taken from a larger piece of cloth with a dark blue tabby weave with spaced warps in the centre field. The centre field has a white zigzag pattern worked in discontinuous supplementary weft. The border consists of a white lattice patterned stripe (a diamond twill supplementary warp) separated from the centre field by 2 narrow orange stripes.
