Carpenter's plane of wood with metal blade. Simple scroll decoration carved in flat part in front of blade, rosette in diagonal part in front of upper part of blade. Initials DVDH stamped twice at vertical end in front of blade and once at opposite end. Gently curved lower face. Old label with the number 4897 written in ink on it at back below the initials.
