Apron, kusazuri, of blue silk brocade divided into two sections below, of five horizontal lacquered rawhide panels with blue lacings. These panels are attached to a hessian backing reinforced with old paper documents. Above the panels a strip of stencilled leather, echoed in two vertical strips and reinforced slits set into the brocade above through which blue straps, which extend aat either side from the waist band, would have been threaded. Silk brocade straps secure the apron legs behind.
