Bottom part of a carved ivory model of an Indian temple on a dark, brown shiny wooden or horn base. Base has engraved lettering infilled with gold colored pigment across the front. Temple consists of a central tower with narrow, tall windows surrounded by pillars. Pillars support a domed structure with tall, oblong windows. Top of object has series of grooves forming a screw fitting for attachment of top part.
