Cressida Diez-Finch

As section head, Cressida manages the Exhibitions and Design team.
This includes project managing and leading a diverse range of audience-focussed exhibitions, from art commissions, photographic shows, collections rich in-house exhibitions, to hired-in large scale interactive family shows. She also manages design work across the Horniman, alongside maintenance of the permanent galleries. She has a particular expertise and interest in interpretation, leading on interpretation planning and text editing, including for the Nature + Love redevelopment. Cressida has worked in museums and heritage since 2001. For the eight years prior to joining the Horniman she was an Interpretation Manager at English Heritage, specialising in interpreting fine historic interiors and gardens, including Kenwood House, Eltham Palace, and Marble Hill House, and her previous experience includes the Imperial War Museums and the Fitzwilliam. She holds a BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford and an MA in Museum Studies from Leicester University. She is also PRINCE2 trained and holds an AMA.
