Tom Slater
Tom Slater is a commercial leader specialising in income generation in the third sector, with extensive experience in cultural and hospitality organisations.
He joined the Horniman Museum and Gardens in 2025 to lead all commercial activity, including retail, catering, venue hire, commercial events, and strategic partnerships.
Before joining the Horniman, Tom was Commercial Director at the Royal Foundation of St Katharine, one of London’s most historic charities, where he delivered significant revenue growth and enhanced visitor experiences.
At the Horniman, Tom is committed to growing commercial opportunities and improving visitor experience through new food and retail offers, innovative commercial programming and large-scale events.
