Horniman Museum Late: Cyberdance with Anti.Net

Immerse yourself in a multisensory experience at Cyberdance Horniman Late curated with our Musicians in Residence Anti.Net.

The spaceship is back and has had a software update. The immortal aliens Anti.Net have parked the mothership bang square in the Horniman, bringing some friends along for the ride.

Enter the Cyberdance zone: a collision of art, sound, fashion and gaming where we explore Visions of the Future – how we imagine the future, how past generations imagined it, and how these shifting visions shape the world we’re in today. Move between live performances, interactive workshops and hands-on installations as you hack, remix and re-imagine your own realities.

Live music

Anti.net

Fusing punk-rap experimentation with DIY alien-aesthetics, Anti.Net have taken on a process they call the “reverse anachronism” – masking, mutating, re-imagining the Horniman’s Musical Instrument Collection to reveal new realms for traditional sounds.

Authentic, rebellious and raw, their energetic and immersive performance, designed in collaboration with visual artist Valeria Salinas Toro, will transport the audience into their world of cyber-experimentation.
