Biography

Surviving so of late Emslie John Horniman and late Laura Isabel Plomer; married 1923, Lucile le Brun de DuPlessis Milne, onle daughter of late Alfred Milne Gossage, CBE, FRCP; one son one daughter.
Educated at Rugby School; Exeter College Oxford; QC 1947; MA (Oxon).
Served in infantry, European War, 1914-1918, BEF; enlisted August 1914; commission, 1915; Captain 17th Service Bn (Football) Middlesex Regt (wounded), 1916; called to Bar, Inner Temple, 1918, in absentia while serving with BEF; after demobilisation practised in London.
