Make your own jellyfish cuddly toy
Join Make Mee Studio as they guide you through the process of creating your very own jellyfish cuddly. Select from reclaimed fabrics and materials and craft a unique marine creature to take home.
All materials will be provided and all levels of experience are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event and may need some assistance with hand sewing. We will be using sharp needles and scissors. When on the sewing machine, children will press the foot pedal while the fabric will be guided by expert Make Mee teachers.
About Make Mee Studio
Make Mee Studio is a social enterprise run by Tracey and Jaime, two lifelong sewers, dedicated to ‘sewing for social good’. Based in Lewisham, they teach children and adults alike to sew and run workshops for the local community. Their aim is to make creativity as accessible, inclusive and environmentally and socially beneficial as possible for all.
Visitor Information
- Please arrive at the Pavilion 5 minutes before the workshop begins.
- Each session lasts for 1 hour.
- Parents and carers will need to stay with their child while they take part in the workshop and smaller children may need some assistance.
- Food and drink are not allowed in the Pavilion.
- Please note that the Pavilion is at the top of the Gardens, accessed from our London Road entrance via a hill.
