Nosferatu with Immersive Live Score
Join composers Kieron Chissik and Caelia Lunniss (The Enchanted Cinema) for their original score to the film.
First performed at LSO St. Luke’s and inspired by diverse influences including Ennio Morricone and Nordic and Balkan folk music, the score will be performed on a range of instruments including violin, gong, autoharp, chimes, and other ethereal sound FX.
Nosferatu (1922) is often considered to be the birth of the vampire movie. The live score will bring to life some of the most ground-breaking scenes of cinema history.
Watch the “ruinenlust” journey across the mountains to Count Orlok’s castle, the epic Ship of Death sequence, and of course Max Schreck’s famously verminous performance as the vampire.
Following the performance, the audience are invited to meet the performers and take a turn on the instruments.
