lid (containers)

An lid of an oval box in Bidri ware. The lid is decorated all over with a silver coloured design of poppy flowers and leaves with a stylised leaf patterned border.

This is probably a Paan box made in Bidar or Hyderabad at the end of the nineteenth century.
