Double flageolet, dark brown wood, ivory mounts and mouthpiece, ivory finger-guides, silver keys. Unequal tubes: short tube, five keys including hinged C; long tube, five keys including low C and C sharp. Two windcutter keys. Keys are flat, octagonal and mounted in turned blocks and rings. Sounding length of short tube (lip to foot) is 33.8 cm. Sounding length of long tube is 39.2 cm. Stamped: Simpson 266 Regent Street, Oxford Street, London (marked Patent and Improved).
