Bassoon, dark brown wood, brass mounts. Four brass keys, flat, round, spatulate, mounted in saddles. Swallow-tail F key. Bass joint keys on flat platform (not raised). Length overall is 122.8 cm. Length of wing and butt is 90.4 cm. Lacks plug for butt. Much worn in wing. F key hole much enlarged and not covered. E hole bushed in metal. Bell cracked, brass bands cracked and soldered. Lacks three key springs and three pads. Bass joint chipped at lower tenon.
