Clarinet in B flat, boxwood, ivory mounts. In five sections. Thirteen German silver keys, round, cupped, mounted on pillars. Hinged F/C key. Lower joint cracked and secured with a metal band. Sounding length (length without mouthpiece) is 57.0 cm Mouthpiece of dark brown wood, not original, marked: Pace, London. Stamped: Martin Frères Paris (monogram; possibly a bee mark).
