Turned and carved tankard with hinged lid and handle on three feet carved in vegetal forms. Bands of scallop shapes lightly incisde around the body as decoration. On the top of the lid is a carved fluted rosette. The lid has a thumb lift in the shape of a bud, and there is a carved rosette on the outside of the hinge pin above the handle. Curved iron plates have been affixed to the outer and inner surfaces immediately in front of the thumb lift, as reinforcement.
