Long-sleeved dress made from multiple panels of undyed cotton fabric, woven in 2.2. twill. It is embroidered in woollen threads on the collar and down the front, on the sleeves and at the hem. The front opening reaches to the waist. It is embroidered with a diamond lattice pattern using red, black and grey/brown woollen threads. The mandarin collar is embroidered in identical fashion. The sleeves have two patterns, different from the front opening and collar. The border of the hem has a different pattern again and on the back it extends to form two vertical 'columns' of embroidery. The front panel, in contrast, has just a row of small black diamonds.
