coconut grater

Carved, wooden coconut grater shaped like a crocodile or lizard with a serrated metal protrusion extending from the mouth. The creature is depicted lying down with no tail visible. Above each foreleg, the upper leg appears as an almost circular swirl, the inner part of which has been painted red. The entire surface is covered with incised lattice patterning and there is a groove along the back, also painted red.
