Ceremonial temple banner, used. Tai Lue, from Nan Province. The banner is rich in iconographic detail in horizontal bands. It is made of cotton with supplementary weft motifs in ebony seed black dye and red, and is hand-spun and hand-woven. It was acquired from the monastery in exchange for a donation passed to the abbot.
