Jacket. Blue velvet with blue braid embroidery. Long sleeves are open on the under side except for a small section near the cuffs; armholes are deeply cut in at the front; cuffs come to a point. Braid border on all edges, with curvilinear foliate designs on both fronts, two lines of small whorls on the back, and a large spearhead-like solid shape on each arm, surrounded by foliate designs. Braid on bottom edge protrudes to form convex scallops. Small pocket on right front side. Body lines in white cotton, sleeves in red cotton-silk. Labelled 'Mrs Noel, 7'.
