Large, almost square piece of cotton textile, possibly a woman's headscarf, with a deep border of black work silk embroidery. The border has a diamond lattice pattern. Inside the border is a large geometic motif at each corner, and a large triangular motif midway along each side. Each edge is secured with blanket stitch. The ground cloth is in two sections, one roughly a quarter of the size of the other. They are handstitched together at the longer edge.
