bow drill

Bow drill consisting of a walrus ivory bow, which is rectangular in section but pointed at one end, with the other end detached and missing. It is decorated all over with engraved scenes of walrus, whales and other hunting scenes. There is a perforation at one end, possibly to attach the bow string.
