Cylindrical basket made of fine strips of rattan woven in a twill pattern in horizontal bands, accentuated in patterning on the outside with black dye. From the top, there is a band of interlocking scrolls, then a wide band of slanting geometrical figures including dentate shapes, then a second band of interlocking scrolls. Narrower bands of simpler patterns between these. The lowest section of the basket is mostly natural in colour. The top of the basket has integral woven loops. The sides are attached to a base made of a coil of fibre bound into a disc.
