We strongly advise visitors to book tickets in advance to avoid queuing, due to reduced till points at the Ticket Desk. Some paths are closed around the entrance while we do improvement works in the Gardens. Please follow signs on site.
Round basket with a detachable lid, made of plant fibre. Two different shades of grass are used to create bands of patterning on the surface of the object. The lid is slightly pointed and there is a hole in the centre of the base of the container. Label: one Church Missionary Society label.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
