Greater than life-sized model head (iki ningyo) in gesso, illustrating an angry expression. It has a long moustache, beard, hair and eyebrows probably made from human hair, and glass eyes with eyelashes. The mouth is open, revealing teeth. It has lifelike contours, showing veins. There are holes at the top and bottom, and string for suspension. There is some superficial damage. An old label, reading 'AU 9', is adhered inside.
